Here's a look back at Conexia Education's main projects in 2023 and what's new for 2024
FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING
From the north to the south of the country, our partners were present in all our partner schools. With the help of a team of specialists from Conexia Education, teachers, coordinators, managers and students were given pedagogical training, capacity-building
training, updates and dynamics that involved everyone in a moment of relaxation, learning and exchange.

"We believe that training the teaching staff is fundamental to maintaining and expanding the quality of teaching. The search for a robust partnership that is present in the monitoring and support of the teaching and pedagogical staff of this institution was decisive for our partnership. All the support that AZ has given us has had a huge impact. Impeccable from the first contact to the arrival of "our Cadú", tireless, attentive, available and brilliant in all the training he has given us. I'd also like to take this opportunity to say how pleased we were with the first face-to-face meeting of the High Five. Rômulo is already unanimous! Excellent! We're sure it's going to be a challenging year, as we're just starting out with bilingualism, but we know we're safe with him! We're happy with what we've already experienced in 2023, and we're already looking forward to what's to come! We thank AZ for not giving up on us, and even more, for believing in our partnership," says Lene Rotterdam, Pedagogical Director of Colégio Potencial, in São Pedro da Aldeia, Rio de Janeiro.

INTERNATIONAL MISSION
In the first edition of the Conexia International Mission, we took our clients to London. In an immersive experience, the participants had the chance to get to know a British university and the education model in a primary school - Final Years and High School.

The agenda was packed with training and discussions on technology, the future and innovation, as well as a visit to Bett UK, the world's largest educational fair.

"The Conexia team gave us a rich week of learning and networking at the largest education and technology fair, Bett London. I met lots of colleagues from our partner schools, we took part in a lot of events and we learned a lot," says Jorge Raniere, Director of Technology and Innovation at Colégio Paraíso in Juazeiro do Norte - CE.

School Innovation Program
In 2023 we proudly launched the School Innovation Program. Conexia's main goal with this program is to make all our partner schools benchmarks in preparing children and young people for the challenges of the 21st century. This year, 13 schools stood out and were awarded prizes in Rio de Janeiro, at our annual supporters' event.

International Journey
The purpose of High Five is to explore the language beyond the classroom and that's what happened with the International Journey. Students from several partner schools that use High Five had a real, immersive experience with native speakers.

"The students experienced meaningful learning through the High Five English books, resulting in remarkable positive impacts. These materials not only improved language skills, but also offered crucial benefits for the children. In addition, the diversity of themes provided a rich cultural immersion, broadening the children's horizons and contributing to the development of reading, vocabulary and oral expression skills. High 5s are not just textbooks; they are educational tools that inspire active and lasting learning in young minds," says Julia Belotti - Bilingual Curriculum Coordinator at Kinder kampus school.

BETT BRAZIL
Once again our stand was a success at Bett Brazil. We brought together technology, innovation and took the opportunity to launch "AZelha", a study assistant that uses generative text models combined with the student's study journey, boosting personalized learning and student protagonism, as practiced by AZ. The resource, which uses Artificial Intelligence integrated with the AZ Super App, provides quick answers, as well as generating ideas and creative solutions in any areas.

We also focus on a unique experience for each visitor with an agenda full of big names, such as Ricardo Amorim, Leandro Karnal, Bernardinho, SOS Educação, Maria Helena Guimarães and Chaim Zaher.

"We felt very welcome, I found the service humanized, I liked the games you brought and the lectures that were important for us to reflect on education and our work," says Cristiane Serpa, a visitor.
CONEXIA ANNUAL MEETING
The 2023 edition of the Annual Meeting was a real success. The event took place in August in Rio de Janeiro and brought together more than 200 guests. The theme was a discussion about the future, Conexia's investments in innovation, the latest in our solutions and the presentation of global trends with international speakers.

APPROVAL PROJECT
The biggest revision immersion for Enem was held for the first time in person on the last weekend before the exam. As well as students in person, we also impacted more than 30 million through the AZ Platform YouTube channel and the O Globo newspaper. More than 30 partner schools also opened their doors and broadcast the lesson to their students.

"This revision was important for us to see that Enem is not a seven-headed beast and that we need to stay calm. The tips on anxiety, order when answering questions and managing time were very important," says Júlia Lago, an AZ student at Centro Educacional de Toledo, in Rio das Ostras - RJ.

NPS
Our NPS survey has had great engagement from our partner schools and is how we can listen to you and further improve our products and services. This year, we rewarded schools and students with a state-of-the-art tablet.

"It was a pleasure to receive the tablet at our school and to know that we had great engagement in Conexia's NPS survey. It's going to be very useful at school," says Angelina Augusta Neves, pedagogical director of CEAD - Alexandre Dumas school, in Diadema - SP.

Students Luiz Fernando, from Colégio Samaritano, in Rio de Janeiro, and Júlia Sotter, from Colégio Santa Terezinha, in Florianópolis - SC, were also awarded a tablet.

High Five
We at Conexia are always looking to evolve and, with the help of our customers, we are always looking to improve our products.

For 2024, we have prepared some new features for High Five.
  • Launch of a new High Five Early Childhood material for 2-year-olds;
  • Early Childhood Education material in upper case to facilitate the learning process during the literacy stage, helping to familiarize children with letters at the beginning of this process;
  • Teacher's book with thumbnails of the student material to facilitate planning and routine in the classroom;
  • New edition of the PBL material, with an even more innovative proposal, guaranteeing more reflective students and protagonists in their learning process;
  • New customized bag for students to carry their school materials.
My Life
My Life Early Childhood Education:
  • We're launching the "Lines of Life" collection from My Life, aimed at children from G4, Kindergarten, to 5th grade.
  • This is premium, interactive material, with a picture book and an activity booklet with lots of resources for children to manipulate and develop socio-emotional skills, such as self-awareness, resilience, collaboration, creativity, ethics, leadership, metacognition and many others.
  • One solution is transdisciplinary! At every meeting, we will give suggestions for teachers to relate socio-emotional education to other fields of knowledge, such as Portuguese language, arts, history, geography and even mathematics. This will help children to develop socio-emotional skills across the whole school curriculum, as advocated by the BNCC, guaranteeing quality pedagogical work.

My Life Final Years and High School:
  • Many improvements in the application of the Senna Instrument
  • Integration of LEX with the Ayrton Senna Institute website. As a result, students will no longer need to register on their website. All they have to do is log in to LEX with their login and password to access My Life!
  • Students will also answer the short version of the Senna instrument. There will no longer be 168 questions, but 54, making it easier to apply. And the best thing: with the same scientific validity!
Plataforma AZ
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION:
After a discovery with our partner schools, we had some proposals for improvements to our materials:
  • With a view to developing skills related to alphabetic writing, we have added new cards to the G4 and G5 materials;
  • To help students perceive more real learning scenarios, we expanded the use of photographs in our materials;
  • To contribute to more effective identification, all the cards will have name and date fields.

Beginning and End Years
New covers have been developed for all primary and secondary schools.

High School:
The 3rd Grade of High School brings major developments:
  • New chapters have been developed, with a view to better preparation for university entrance exams;
  • We have reordered the themes in the Natural and Exact Sciences with the aim of smoothing the transition between contents and respecting prerequisites.

MAP
A great novelty for the 1st and 2nd grades is that the MAP can be organized with a focus on careers and universities.

REPORTS
Student dashboard:
  • A new presentation for learning data has been developed, with the aim of making it easier for both students and teaching staff to manage their learning.
